Geotesan Volumetric

Definition

Volumetric mesh for erosion control. Specially designed to prevent erosion (rills and gullies) on slopes. Thanks to its volumetric configuration allows placement and support of a plant substrate. VOLUMETRIC GEOTESAN strengthens the vegetation since the roots are fixed in it. It also has a mesh suitable for input to the soil from entering it.

The Volumetric Geotesan consists of:

• a mesh BOP de PP of 40 g/m², it acts as substrate
• a mesh rhombic of PEAD de 125 g/m2, which acts as a base
• a mesh rhombic of PEAD de 125 g/m2, that generates the waves.

Fields of application

Ideal to protect against erosion on slopes: slopes of roads, housing estates, gardens, landfill closures, protections.

How to use

For proper installation of the product should follow the following instructions:

1. Regulate the profile of the slope.
2. Open two ditches, a coronation, and another at the foot of the slope, firmly anchoring the mesh Volumetric Geotesan the natural terrain and facilitate unwinding.
3. Anchor trench mesh in the crown with steel clamps, one at a meter.
4. Unroll the mesh GEOTESAN titrated at the direction of maximum slope, ensuring that it is securely attached to the ground
5. Set the mesh using staples VOLUMETRIC GEOTESAN:
   • Angle of slope < 45º 1 Staple each meter
   • Angle of slope> 45º 2 Staple each meter
   • At each change of roll overlap of a roll 20 cm above the other
   • At the joints overlap side of a roll 10 cm above the next
6. Once the mesh is firmly attached proceed to a soil contribution
   • If topsoil cover all the undulations (2 cm)
   • If it is a projection of substrate should apply different layers of soil to cover the product
7. In both cases it is advisable to incorporate a hydroseeding in the soil contribution.
8. Once the hydroseeding is recommended to extend a capping layer to prevent the wind or the birds carry the seeds.
